ROOFTECH has completed well over 3,000 projects on some of the most difficult roofing and renovation projects in the country, since being founded in 1983. ROOFTECH has a long track record of solving complicated roofing and waterproofing problems and implementing solutions to those problems, as well as consulting on large complicated new construction projects. Below are a few examples of our projects.
ROOFTECH performed the roof design, inspection, and testing for the replacement of the roofs on this building. The rooftop units supported the computerized flight training equipment that had to operate 24/7 during construction. The units were located in a recessed “pit” which had improper drainage. Our solution solved the drainage/roofing issues while providing a better aesthetic solution. We covered these areas with standing seam metal roofs while providing ventilation for the units.
ROOFTECH performed design, inspection, and testing services on this border station complex which included the main border station and 10 auxiliary buildings. The project included the replacement of complex barrel vault, standing seam metal roofs, built-up roofs, and mechanical penthouses with a long history of performance issues. The $1,785,000 budget was met and there were no change orders on this project.
ROOFTECH performed evaluation and testing services involving a major fire loss. We initially worked for the insurance carrier and then worked with the owners providing structural and roof design, inspection, and testing services in the replacement of the roofs and repair of the damaged structures.
ROOFTECH performed evaluation and testing services involving significant design and construction problems involving the structure and waterproofing of the parking garage. We then performed consulting and inspection services related to the repair of the structure and the replacement of the waterproofing system.
ROOFTECH performed the roof evaluations and testing services involving a large hail loss damage to the facility. We initially worked with the insurance carrier and then worked for the owner providing roof design, bidding, and inspection, and testing services in the replacement of the roofs.
ROOFTECH provided design, bidding, and construction administration services for the replacement of the roofs on a circa 1960s school building. Our design included re-sloping the roofs, raising the HVAC units, raising and replacing the electrical lines on the roof, raising the gas lines, replacing the roofs, and designing a new fascia system to totally transform the facility.
